The Skudde sheep is small, with a short tail. The Skudde sheep has a strong temperament and is very attentive. Its origin dates back to Prussia and the Baltic. The special feature is: the big woolly fleece (mixed) with long hair. The Skudde sheep is very playful and attentive. It has a strong herd instinct and maternal instinct. The sheep often haven‘t got horns. Following its simplicity and robustness, they are predestined for nutrient-poor land, and difficult climatic conditions. Skudden Sheep exist in several colours: golden brown, black and white. They are threatened with extinction.
